We are an enterprise that developed a multimodal technological platform, that is, both in mobile and web version, that interacts as an intermediary in the provision of academic tutoring lessons to a community of students and tutors to improve their academic performance. This service is provided directly to Educational Institutions. Linc Learning, Inc. collects information from the students and tutors for the purposes set forth in this Privacy Notice, all personal information by users is provided by Educational Institutions, the information is protected according to international, federal, and local laws.
Linc Learning, Inc. from now on will be referred to as the Company, for practical purposes.
The services provided by the Company are provided directly to Educational Institutions (universities, colleges, high schools, middle schools, elementary schools), in which the academic tutoring lessons given through the platforms will be free of charge, unless stated differently by the Institution, in which case must inform its users. To provide the services to the Institutions by the Company, certain personal data of the users, both students and tutors, is required, which may be collected by the users upon registration or given to the Company by the Institution.
This notice applies to any User, no matter their location, and everyone who uses the services of the Company through any of its platforms (web or mobile). This notice applies whether you exchange information with any of the Company’s communities, by any means of interaction such as social network accounts, email, instant messaging, private chat, by phone, personally or by being part of an Educational Institution to which the Company provides a service.
The information requested depends on the specific Educational Institution in question, therefore, the information requested from each user of the Educational Institution to which they belong may vary, some information that could be collected is listed below:

1. Indirectly: The Company may be provided with information from the Educational Institution regarding its students and tutors. This information provided only encompasses the criteria from the list above.
2. Directly: Upon registration in any of our platforms, filling out an information form is required. The information required only encompasses the criteria from the list above.
All the information that is requested from the users belonging to the Educational Institutions and that is collected through our platforms will be used for the following, although it may vary with respect to each Educational Institution. If a user has any doubts, they would have to review it directly with the Educational Institution to which they belong.
The information collected by each Educational Institution will only be available to staff from the Company and from the particular Educational Institution. The Company will not share information from one Educational Institution with another Institution. Furthermore, the Educational Institution in question will only allow a few people deemed “Administrators” to have access to Linc’s Control Panel where the information can be found (other users will not be able to see any type of information from other users or from the Educational Institution).

The information collected from users through the services provided by the Company to Educational Institutions, may be used to promote the company's platforms in any of the social networks that the Company deems appropriate. Some of the information that can be promoted is the following: testimonials from users, statistics from the demand of academic tutoring lessons, images of students or advisors using the platforms, etc.

User data collected such as registration information, Educational Institution details, data stored by the user in our learning platforms, is stored for as long as the user is registered in any of our platforms.
Personal data gathered through marketing campaigns and website forms (such as contact forms on our websites) is stored until the user decides that they don't want to receive updates from us anymore. We use email marketing to communicate with these contacts and there is a "Unsubscribe" option available in each email.
All our user’s data is stored on our secure servers located in the USA on Amazon Web Services cloud.
Our learning platforms include the following security mechanisms to protect its users and their information: passwords, authenticated resource access, secure messaging, communications monitoring, secure storage, secure servers. All communications are over HTTPS, all personal passwords are encrypted with individual SALT values, we use a rate limiter to prevent brute force attacks in our system, our cloud infrastructure is hosted in their own VPC (virtual private cloud), and all remote ssh access is protected using public/private keys.
We conduct regular security audits and run daily security tools on our platforms to automatically detect and report security issues. You can easily prevent selected users from logging in, revoke their access rights, or delete them entirely if necessary. You can configure your portal security policies to specify which operations can be performed by specific account types.

The Company does not warrant or provide any assurances that your use of the Products will comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, as amended (“HIPAA”). If you are a health care provider, health plan, insurer, health care information clearinghouse or other entity that may be considered a “covered entity” under HIPAA or a “business associate” of a “covered entity” under HIPAA, you shall take all steps necessary to comply with HIPAA and shall be responsible for any applicable compliance with HIPAA. You agree that you will not provide the Company with any protected health information (as that term is defined under HIPAA) and that the Company is therefore not deemed to be a business associate of you and/or your institution for purposes of compliance with HIPAA.
This Privacy Notice may be changed, amended or modified at any time by the Company, to meet legislative, internal policy developments, as well as new requirements necessary for the provision of its services. In the event of changes, amendments or modifications, the Company may make the users know through advertisements, communications or notices published on any of its platforms, or through the website www.linc.io or directed personally to its users through the emails provided. The user's entry to the Company's website or any of the platforms after the date of the publication of the modifications to this Notice will be understood as granting their consent to them.
In terms of the provisions of the Law and its Regulations, and without any error, bad faith or intent, the User expresses their agreement with this Privacy Notice and their consent for their personal data to be treated in accordance with what is stated in the same.
